Joint Venture

A Joint Venture (JV) is a business arrangement in which two or more parties agree to pool their resources for the purpose of accomplishing a shared goal. In order to do so, the parties involved set up a separate legal entity (a venture) in addition to the parties’ own business interests. All parties involved own some part of the Joint Venture. JVs are therefore in fact equity alliances.
